Called 3 times (one call after the other), but left no message. I don't answer calls for numbers I do not know. These idiot scammers, spammers, sluggards, are now redialing numbers (2 or 3 times) that do not answer. This makes the person receiving the multiple calls think, "This might be an emergency, since this same number has called me several times, back to back".
If it is a true emergency, the caller will leave a message.
I apologize if my input here is hard to follow, but I have been up all night at the hospital with a friend who is very ill. My brain is in "need sleep fuzzy" mode.
