Actually you have to send a written cease and desist. And these people are actually no bill collectors so they should automatically be able to take you off their automatic dialers on a do not call list. I dont know but that's harassment.
These scam-by-phone fake car warranties do not give out their business or mailing address, so there is no way to send them any written cease-and-desist letter.
As with previous messages, at least once a day but usually 2 to 3 calls a day. Untill I called the number back, at which time I proceeded to inform the unfortunate soul on the other end exactly how I felt about the many calls received. My capacity to be rude is legendary and my knowledge of exlicatives is extensive, but even that didn't help. What was effective was when I informed them that I would be calling the authorities and would like to know the actual name of the company and the owners name and where they could be found. They hung up before I could finish the question and haven't heard from them since. They won't answer my calls either.
If it's not to collect a valid debt, you don't need to write anything, just say "do not call me again" then if they do, you have a traceable number and a county D.A. who can take action.
