A call from this obviously-spoofed invalid number arrived today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space.  This is typical of robocallers (illegal telemarketers) who use automated dialers to spoof their numbers of origin in a desperate search for victims.  The number is spoofed because the 148 prefix is not valid within any US area code.
