A call from this Van Nuys VOIP number arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. This behavior is typical of robocallers (illegal telemarketers) who use automated dialers in a desperate search for gullible victims.
Thanks to poster Roy (see above), the caller has been unmasked as a scam HVAC contractor who fakes an existing "business relationship" to justify his unlawful telemarketing spiel. Whether its timeshares, home repairs, sweepstakes prizes, or whatever, a scam is a scam is a scam.
According to www.whitepages.com this number is described as "suspected spam." I'm soooooooo surprised!!!
Seriously we need to be able to trace where the call is coming from so we know where they live and all their phone numbers then we can take turns calling them at all hours and see how they like it
