That number is very suspicious, as it has too many matching numbers to be someone's personal phone. Could be a totally scammed number. Folks, simply do not answer the phone unless you recognize the calling party. Or if you do pick up and it's someone you don't want to talk to, simply say, "No thank you" and hang up.
After adding my above message I Googled the number, and found that it's an Acura dealer about 25 miles from me. I have no idea why they would be calling me, as I have never done business with that dealership. Perhaps some scammer is spoofing the number; don't know.
I don't think it is an Acura Dealer anymore. The phone number cannot be returned or traced. When I answered the phone, it sounded like a call center with a lot of background noise. The rep didn't hear me answer the phone and was having a personal conversation with someone and then hung up on me. I tried to return the call to find out their business and the number does not go through.
This one came in three times past two days, no voicemail. CID "Acura 101 West" a (former?) car dealer in Calabasas CA. Apparently a spoofed number. Now blocked.
Just checked and found that Acura 101 West closed for business in December 2015 but they were in business for a long time, so this number was ripe for fraudulent spoofing. I'll give the phone scammers credit, some of them do their research.
