Out of area hang up

Called at noon, did not recognize number, did not answer.  Caller immediately called again.  Left no message

The person just called and knew my moms name and said he was a detective and if we were harboring a  fugitive we could go to jail. He said he was coming over. I called the police and they said it's probably a scam. Do you think it's a scam? Scary!!!!!

Called, left no message.  Yes, a scam.

Our third call from 818 237.  Our blocker allows us to selectively block area codes and prefixes.  We have had the 818 area code and the 237 prefix blocked for several months.
Called today at 2:57pm from a VOIP.  No caller ID.
