Not sure who this company is but person called today looking for the owner/controller regarding "current litigation". I told him that owner was not in and even if he was the owner wears hearing aids and can't hear that well on the phone. I then asked what he was talking about 're. Litigation, he said I wouldn't know because I was just the receptionist, gee...I didn't tell him I also paid the bills and send out invoices. Anyways he said he would try the other number he had, I told him good luck considering we don't have another number......
Just received a phone call from this number - the woman asked for the owner or the controller, and she said it was regarding an investigation. She was sounding 'urgent' - so sick of these phone calls. Anyways I told her I was the only one in the office - she said she'd call back. Gee, can't wait...
We got a call from a gentleman stating that he was "calling in reference to an investigation." When I asked what it was regarding he THEN said it was "in reference to an outstanding past due balance" and that he needed to speak to the owner. When I put the owner on the phone he gave the same reason as he had given me. The owner asked what EXACTLY was it in reference to he acted VERY aggressive and wouldn't state his reason for calling. The owner then said she didn't want to speak with him anymore and hung up. I'm sure they'll try calling again...those kind of people ALWAYS do!
Got a call from this same number. Same thing "urgent" about a "ongoing investigation".
I actually didn't say anything for about 10 seconds, because I was busy writing down what it said on my caller id ... when I finally went to say "May I ask who's calling" it was like he was prank calling me, by going "Ohhh" and hanging up.
