"Emily Reed" calls, says she's from Merchant Funding, with a terrible script, offering business loans. I asked her a question, she hung up. Since that number calls me almost daily, I called back, pretended to be interested, and got passed on to someone who said they were from Rapid Capitol Funding in Miami (I'm in New Mexico). I asked to be taken off their list -- bit I know they will still call as this is very transparent scam. They said my business was called because we qualify for a loan, and when I asked what the criteria was to be eligible, the asked me to tell them my business name -- so, it was just another annoying scam.
