This is not an actual California energy number, it is a scam. People who use threats over the phone are scammers and should be treated as such. Do not fall for this, these people are criminals
CALIFORNIA ENE called and forgot to hand up allowing me to hear the telemarketing room sound. They left no message. Now they're on my call block so they hear a loud tone blast their ear when they call
California Energy called to ask me what kind of paint I had on my house. She claimed that if I haven't painted my house in 5 years they can help to paint my house to save energy. When I told them," That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard", she got very angry. I then told her I'm on the Do Not Call list, and she said, "Then why are you talking to me" and she hung up on me.
January 29, 2015 @ 7:51 pm, received a call from this California Energy, looking at caller ID I seen the name instantly recalled this company calls everyday, I have asked them to stop calling and that we are on the National do not call registry.. This evening, The person on the other end of the line asked to speak to my 84 year old father, after so many calls about the same thing I told her we were not interested, she continued on to say "you don't know what I am calling about!" needless to say it was upsetting...I admit after repeatedly asking to be removed from their call list...You know why they are calling, We have had all the needed upgrades for energy efficiency...I tried to tell her this( OK yes I lost my cool) when I told her "I was my fathers caregiver I was not waking him up!" She said to me" for a caregiver you sure seem to know to much! I felt like she was acting my character, and used language I should not have...I did try to call back feeling bad about what I had called her finally after several hang ups, the phone was answered she told me not call the number and She was calling Family Services!
