Supposedly the business is called "Business Solutions" and operates out of Los Angeles (according to the woman I spoke with, said her name was Sandra ...right....). The sales pitch was that they provide loans for working capital as long as you have at least $150k in income. They are not a lender, but sound like some sort of broker.
The interesting thing is that I've received calls from them from area codes in Texas as well. I have continually asked them to remove me from their system, but I keep getting calls. My number is and has been on the Do Not Call Registry for years.

If they are calling a business number then you are not covered regardless of whether your number is on the list or not. Business to business sales calls are specifically permitted. Telemarketers who are calling a known business number are not required to screen against the DNC list before calling and if they only make business to business sales calls are not even required to register as a telemarketer making sales calls. Any complaints you would file about receiving business to business sales calls would be invalidated as soon as it was determined your number was a business number. All this is explained on the DNC website.
Listing spam call here because i just got an odd hangup call from 818-358-3948 and when i called back it gave me recorded message with 818-456-4117. How weird is that? I'm going to list this info directly at the other # too, hope it helps someone who hates spam calls as much as i do.
