The person stated he was an officer and if I did not pay the fee of $9,700 I could go to jail for 6 months, he gave me a reference number of my case, he told me to call back using his exact number. I called the number and I got a voice machine which was only in Spanish saying if this is an emergency dial 911, thank you for calling LAPD. First off officers don't call and threaten citizen and the LAPD does not have answering machines that only speaks Spanish. The person on phone sounded like he had a Cuban accent.
