Just a reminder for those still new to the game: Don't panic. You didn't apply to these creatures for a loan. Sadly, you are not being singled out for special attention. There is no need to return their call to accept their gracious offer (!!!) or to demand they remove your number from their non-existent do-not-call list. Since you didn't answer the call from the spoofed, unfamiliar number (riiiight?), simply delete any unwanted residue from your call logs, voicemail, etc. If you have a blocker, add the number if you like.
