Received call on my mobile at 11:30 am. Did not recognize this number. Caller did not leave message. We won't answer these calls because they will call back using another number! I'm on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY but they don't care -- they are only looking to scam. Saved 818-483-8346 to contact list then put ringer on MUTE if they call again.
I received a very weird call from this number. It introduce itself as if I was the winner of some sort of context I did not sign up to. Then it got more confuse, it started to talk about the offers and the things they were going to send to my address for no charge. I am not aware that they have my personal information but that's what I understood. They told me I have been selected just by having a credit card visa or master card. I didn't gave then any kind of information by phone but it knew my name. I also notice that it was a machine because I could heard some typing in the back. I don't recall that it announced itself as a machine. And when i said I didn't authorized them to sen me anything. It said that the company will answer farther questions and hang up.
I just got that very same call, then, after receiving no answer to a specific question, realized that it was a recorded woman's voice on a track. Just another scammer preying on gullible seniors with bait of "winner of one million dollars" and such to get credit card numbers and other personal info. May they all rot in hell!!
I just got a call saying, "Hey this is Jenny. I am calling you long distance from California. Can you hear me ok? Hello? Hello? Thank you for your time." Then hung up.
