Con artists. You pick up and a recording starts stating "Your wages are endangered of being garnished." I was bored and rather than mop the floor, I hit number 1 as suggested. The recording said I was "caller number 7." I waited. A woman came on almost immediately and asked if I owed more than 2K in credit card debt. (Wow, busy important office. LOL.) I said in a very collected but concerned sounding voice, "Oh dear, wage garnishment?" She paused for a moment. Then she hung up. She apparently she checked our number and saw we were on their, "Don't call them list. They will jerk you around for an hour for fun." My husband is trying to beat the record at his club; omeone actually jerked a con artist around for over 65 minutes. He recorded the call, too, and posted it to You Tube. It is hysterical. No category for con artists below? Okay, I will check prank call. Should be "criminal call." Or "phishing."
