They've called twice within the past ten minutes. Both times, I could hear someone breathing and hear people talking in the background. Both times the person hung up a few seconds after I answered with the name of our store. Annoying.
New number but the exact same script as the clowns from Ace Tools follow - Hey, how ya doin? Can I talk to the guy who's responsible for buying the shop's tools? Usually they call from 818-252-1981 but thanks to sites like this, they've probably been blocked from a good deal of numbers.

The call from this number misrepresented themselves as "someone that sends catalogs out to my employer on a regular basis" He said they were out of Little Rock, Arkansas but was calling from a California number and of course there was no business name identified on the call. He said he was a forklift driver with "ACE" warehouse and they were closing out a warehouse and had some great deals on tools. It's obviously a scam. If it wasn't he would have to lie to earn our business. PLEASE BLOCK THESE PEOPLE!
They call and act like a friend of the owner of the company...when I tell them that this is a business and does he need assistance, they hang up on me.
Guy called asking for our CEO by name, said he was "returning his call"... I highly doubt it, I always ask them again "Oh you're returning his call?" the really sleazy ones always pretend like they've been talking to the owner but whenever I ask him he never knows them.
Received a call from 818 504 9337 asking for our parts manager that has not worked here for over a month. He then asked for his cell number and I advised that I can't give that out. He said the 'F' word and hung up.
