Established with [***] that answered that I knew is a scam. After he hung up, I just kept calling back and let phone ring 40-50 times until he now hangs up as soon as I call. I may try during the night just to piss him off!
Exact same thing. I got a call yesterday from a different number saying I needed to call my lawyer as there is a warrant for my arrest due to back taxes. I told him there definitely is NOT and to take my number off their call list. I reported them, also. Now I am trying to find how I did that so I can report this one. I am on the Do Not Call List, so why am I getting these calls every day???
the exact same message as the others are reporting. sounds like a robot hillbilly. he says our address is under federal investigation and there is an arrest warrant out for back taxes. This is how the elderly get scammed. These people should be put in jail.
Same here. Called and left a message claiming to be some officer Mr Bryan Snyder but yet does NOT actually leave a name of whom he is claiming to be looking for. Wanting to be called back. Total scam! Sorry but A) No one here is in any type of trouble with the IRS and B) the IRS would never actually call you if there was some issue. These people are horrible and are praying on the elderly or the idiots who will actually call them back in hopes of getting personal information. Sad.
