This Middle East speaking guy originally called from 310-659-0786 saying he was from Microsoft, said he could see from our I.p. Address that our computer had been compromised, gained access to our computers, which my son says is "social engineering", tried to "sell" us for $499, $299, and $269 a virus protection, and asked for my paypal password! He also gave me this number to call him back on 818-602-4442. Said his name is Jack, and not some Middle eastern name like Habib! This dude is a criminal! Think I'll report him!
I got call from 818-602-4442 they hacked my computer and asked for money, later i called microsoft they said no problems in my computer. they are calling me again and again i didn't answered the call and reported to NYPD

I just got a call from 310-659-0786 and was told that they got a report that there are many attempts to hack my computer and they are notifying me about the problem. The guy's name is Sam and I said that I would not gain him access but wanted his phone number in case I wanted to call him back. He said his company (forgot the name, generic sounding) is certified by Microsoft and Apple. Sam gave me his extension #5461 and his call back number 818-602-4442. Glad I checked the number first!
This is the call back number I was given after "Mike" #8985 called to tell me my computer had a virus that they could tell from my ip. My cell and my iphone are not linked. He insisted he was from Microsoft. He called from a 310 number. Total scammers.
