A man called me because he saw my resume online. He said he was from Uber and wanted to know if I would like to sign up to drive for Uber.  He started to ask me personal questions. I guess he didn't like the way I answered one and he said "sorry I can help you". After that I spoke with an Uber employee and she said that Uber never calls people. She also told me that there was a guy who came in to applying Uber at the office,  Who also got a call from someone claiming to be from Uber. Unfortunately this guy gave out all his info including his Social Security number. I guess you could say I dodged a bullet  when the guy abruptly hung up on me. Also I've noticed that the areas from was from which this call originated is full of telemarketing schemers.  The area listed above is a highly affluent areas in LA County, so let's not put any more money into their pockets. So be wary of any call originating from the areas listed above.
