"I rushed to the phone" Since when is a phone call so important you need to rush to the phone? If it is an important call they will leave a message. If they don't then it wasn't all that important. Calling an unknown number back is never a good idea. You can be billed big money for the call, you verify that they called a live number with someone who answers, and you most likely will be calling criminals up.
