Received telemarket phone call from these people. A female voice regarding construction work for my home. She said she wasn't a telemarketer. I called her a liar and hung up. Later I checked voicemail and found a message in her voice saying I "shouldn't piss her off when she had my phone and address but I didn't have hers and to just wait and see what was going to happen now". Is this normal with telemarketers? Should I call the police? Any advice would be appreciated. She sounded really spooky.
I would take that as a credible threat of harm/violence. Contact your local police-take no chances. It is better to err on the side of safety. We are not living in the world of 20 years ago let alone just 5 years ago. Once a certain line is crossed it goes from just a simple scam call to something more.
