They ask for my husband and then hung up on me when told he was not available. If they are asking for a donation to any thing they sure will not get it now!
has called several times this week but leaves no message. No idea who they are what they want but they can't be legitimate or they would leave a message or send a letter.
Since it was an 800 I called them back. The caller ID says "EDF" which stands for Environmental Defense Fund. They are well funded by wealthy elites who are involved in what is called "Green Washing". Their board of directors is top heavy with corporate bosses. Google them and find out more.
Please look this charity up on charity navigator before you trash them. We have donated for years and we are NOT "wealthy elite!" They get results that helps our planet. That being said, I'm not convinced that's who this caller is.
