Guy calling from police department saying that he is a deputy and that there is a warrant out for your arrest for fines that you have to pay them. Its a bunch of bull.
Saying from the police saying I had a warrant. Need to pay the fines. He called me back the next day. When I said I would contact the court directly he threatened me. Said he knows where I am an gave me my address. Reported to police.
Claims to be Sheriff. Keeps claiming he doesn't collect debts. Won't back down. Keeps pushing it. So far as I can determine this is not a valid Sheriff's number. Looks like another blatant scam. If you receive a call from this number, report it to your local law enforcement as someone impersonating an officer. Report any threats to your local law enforcement. See: http://www.whycall.me/818-824-5479.html Pretends to be with the LA Sheriffs Dept, No. Hollywood Division, notifying you of outstanding warrant and asking for payment of fine. No such "Division" with the LASO.
Its a scam, guy claims to be Sheriff Kevin Sizemore just like complaintsabout missing jury duty. Claims that it was a special change of venue jury duty where you had to see the judge directly. He wants $2000 worth of GreenDot cards for you to bring down to 211 W Temple Street for warrants & citations and you will post bond.
