Just got that call Myself , definitely a Scam , I've dealings with the IRS before and they always Mail you a Letter and Give you a Phone # to call or an Email address or a ( .gov ) website.
India IRS Scam, our GOV needs to end allowing them to even have VOIP, if they want to talk to there relatives, they need to do it the old way, thru the phone. NO VOIP FOR INDIA, STOP THE FAKE CALLS!
It should be obvious that this is a scam. My past (and infrequent) dealings with the IRS were always notices through snail mail. Don't even bother calling back. Trust me... if the IRS wants money from you they know where you live!
Thank you for your posts. I did not answer and it went to voicemail stating that I am hiding money from the IRS! HA! I wish I had the extra money! LOL! Number now blocked.
