Got the same call and the guy said his name was Michael from microsoft tech support. Called him a liar and to send me the money that he wanted to -fix- my computer and he hung up.
Picked up because I was waiting for an important call even though I suspected that I have received calls from this # before. I got an instant auto "good bye " I believe that is because they are hoping that my wife would pick up since the scams don't work with me. We live in a very rural area and our land line is very important to us. I wish these people could be prosecuted for the hassle they cause us.
11/29: CID Los Angeles CA/Digital Insight - several rings, disconnect, no msg - called both my numbers 1 1/2 hrs apart (first call: Los Angeles CA; second call: Digital Insight) - DEFINITELY a telemarketer/scam.
