they have called several times. Last time the man told my husband he was a bigot when he told them not call again. He then said he should come to our and shoot my husband. Gets very nasty and rude as you can't understand him. Wants computer info, says we have isses and he will fix it.
I got a call from this number, i couldn't hardly understand what they were saying, but it was obvious they wanted me to give them access to my PC. Aside from taking there word for who they actually were. They couldn't provide me with any further information. wanted me to hit Windows Key and R, and type in codes giving them access. Don't do this. This is most undoubtedly a scam.
I spoke with these people. They tried to represent that they were from windows and had some security issue with my computer. I was questioning them about who they were, where they were located, which of my computers they were referring to, etc. They just kept going back to the same lame, half [***] cover story. I suspect they would have wanted me to go to some website and thereby give them control of my computer. This is a scam and likely a hack. When I asked about the so-called error messages they said they were receiving from my computer, they, when pressed, said they were coming within the last 4 weeks. Of course, I did not have my computer then and did not have internet access during the last month. They are hackers or scammers. Their cover fell apart under even basic scrutiny and questioning. Do not allow them to get you to do anything.
Same as everyone else. Person calls and tries to tell me my computer is sending them messages about a serious problem. Wants me to give him access. Definitely a scam. DO NOT do what they ask or you will lose everything on your computer and they will own you.
