Called for donation told them no, then I got the high pressure less money (from $75 down to $5 over 4 minutes) to send families on vacations *OR* to put a radio in their hospital/hospice room! WTH?? Reminded me of the timeshare scams/free cruise hard sell BS. Wanted to put non-profit but this has got to be a scam.
Got a call from this number today. Caller ID is UTD CANC SUP FD. I did not answer the call because it was out of my area code and they did not leave a message. Added the number to my call blocker.
Got a call today from United Cancer Support Foundation. Was told that we were "harder to catch up to than a kid in a cookie jar." Then started with high pressure to donate. I have googled them and a huge part of the $4.8 million they took in goes to overseas grants. They need to shut these scanners down!
Called this morning, did not answer... suspected they were a charity and checked here first, then I blocked future calls after reading previous comments.
