Just got a call from some lady who called me by my first name. I said hello reluctantly when I picked up phone. She laugh and said she didn't hear me and guess it was time for more coffee. I did not listen long to her BS before I hung up on here and bloced number.
Kids Wish Network. ... call came in at 8:20AM. A way-too-perky lady named Vanessa joked about me needing more coffee because she couldn't hear me. Ummm ... seriously? If YOU can't hear, how is that MY problem? After promising to not take much of my time, she launched into her scripted speech about sick children & offered to send me an envelop for my donation. I told her, as I tell every telemarketer, that I make all my donations locally (totally true by the way). She turned the page to her Plan B script (so much for that promise she made).
