This number has called me three times in two day. It's always around 8 am. I called the number back and it is some kind of non-profit wanting donations. I didn't listen long enough to hear what they were for, I was mostly wondering if I'd get a human or not.
This number is calling and now is showing Boone, NC as the location. It calls several times a day. We just let it go to voicemail and there is never a message at all. It's obviously a telemarketer or some scam charity bot calling.
Charity, some Survey's and Political calls are exempt from the DNC. They can get into trouble though despite being exempt if they do not place you on their internal DNC list when asked. You can also check your states laws in regards. Some states have different laws in regards to the calls, which can differ from the federal.
Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
