Identified himself as "National State Troopers Organization" looking for donations. This is a phone scam as State Police DO NOT solicit money. Hang up on him.

Yes they do. They hire phone call centers to do the calling. Just hang up on them. The callers would you to think that they are troopers and intimidate you in that manner. Troopers would face ethical problems if they were caught "dialing for dollars".
