I received a voicemail from this phone number. The message said that I or my legal counsel needed to contact the office or I would waive my rights. No other specific information was given.
On Wednesday, January 30, 2017, I received a phone call from this number. The female voice identified herself as "Irese Lacie from Independent Counsel", claiming that a case had been filed against me in her office, and if I didn't respond, I would "waive all my rights" and she would submit my case for further action.
Correction: the date was Wednesday, Jan 25, 2017 that "Independent Counsel" first contacted me from this number; I'm looking at my notebook..they've been calling my house and cell number every weekday now..
These scammers obviously can't get real jobs or they would. Can't pass a background check, so they do what they can. Sad. Only thing to do is not answer the phone at all. If it's a legit debt, you will get something by mail.
