I usually do not answer calls that are not in my cel ph contacts but in the past, a guy called me saying that he was a Police Sergeant from my local town soliciting a donation. Just to mess with him I told him: "No thank you, I already gave at the office" ha ha ha. Other times I put them on hold purposely for a long time until they get tired of waiting and eventually hang up.
Interesting. I thought this would happen. Some numnuts used my number as theirs for their important stuff. Now I'm getting debt collection calls......and now this number calls, their insurance calls, they get appointment reminders. Oh yay. I don't give anyone my number. Rarely. Only my closest friends. I still got stupid calls. But now we can triple them. It seems they did this on "accident". But by the type of calls they aren't following through on (your rental car is waiting for you after your accident and two weeks they never picked it up, please release your car to the insurance company after your accident, so we can pay you, that one for a week!) I mean WHAT are these people doing!!!!) and the fact that they repeatedly give everyone of use to them this number over and over again and can't learn from it speaks volumes for their intelligence. I get to pay the price with MY number being sold.
