entered information to compare insurance prices and the minute I finished the phone rang.  I did not answer phone but looked up phone number and saw that this number was from state farm.  I never did a quote on line.

Exact same experience. The call came in the second I clicked for an insurance Quote. Could not be more automated than that at 7:15 PM...

You will never get an actual quote for auto insurance. The opt out number is 888-353-6444. (Hopefully this will work.)
