Fake IRS scam that called my poor husband and told him if he didn't pay them $2,000 over the phone the cops would be at the house in an hour. What a horrible thing to do! I reported to IRS. The real IRS.
Message left: Said I was a tax evader. Wanted to protect me from prosecution, to please return their call. They are pure fraud and a tax scam. Beware of such calls.
Robo "IRS" message said there was a criminal order against me. Wanted me or my criminal attorney to call them as soon as I received the message. If I didn't "robo she" said "then all I can say is sorry it's all on you". I'd like to get a real person instead of a robo one, I just might tell them I am an agent with the IRS, we are tracing the call & have our satellites focusing in on them--expect some doors being knocked down
