Legitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process. They will deliver the notification without warning.

Definitions, if you need 'em:
* A =summons= is an official notice of a lawsuit. It is given to the person being sued (the defendant).
* A =subpoena= is a court order. It requires someone to come to court, go to a deposition, or give documents or evidence.
* =Papers= is a word sometimes used by scammers, as a scare word. Legal documents can be sent via Certified mail. A courier is not absolutely necessary, although the Sheriff, Constable, or a Bonded Licensed Process Server might be used. Such people will have appropriate ID.
I received a call from this number and was told someone came to my house to serve me with papers and the young man that answered the door said he did not know who I am. She threatened to send a uniformed official to my house to serve me with papers. The name on the caller ID was Secure Capital
I got a call from a 4th party called Secure Capital at work stated that they were calling on behalf of SCM and associates. They put me on a call supposedly that was a conference call. The guy answered the phone and was yelling talking about he was warned about my attitude. I firmly stated I didn't have an attitude but was agitated that they didn't call my personal cell and they didn't want to give me the name of the company. Finally he gave me the name but would not give me his number but insisted that he call me after work.
