not a telemarketer. i have a mastercard. I didn't take the call but called my card company directly. They said the call did not come from them, they are filing the number with their fraud office.
this number called me and an automated message said "this call is to inform you that your Mastercard from Union First Market Bank has been locked due to suspicious activity. To unlock your mastercard, please press one." I don't have a mastercard!!! Be careful - do not divulge any information and check your credit!! make sure no one is using your information!!!
Male voice. Recorded message stated calling from "Union First Market Bank" that Mastercard was locked due to suspicious activity. Press 1 to unlock. Needless to say, I have no MC with that bank. Definitely a scam of some sort.
I just received a call from this number, but they left no message and I was screening it (since I don't know anyone in Texas). I have a MasterCard, so I'm glad I checked here so I wouldn't answer next time, either.
