If you bought anything at Home Depot that uses water fridge, washer, etc.) that is why they are calling.  They'll say they are affiliated with Home Depot.  They are through some contract.  They tell you they want to send a worker with a BADGE to your house to test your water for free and for your time they'll give you a HD $20 gift card at some point after.  They play it off like they are gonna help you find out what's in your water, but when they arrive they try to sell you everything including their car if you're interested.  I called Home Depot and they said the do not sell our information but they do it as a service.  Ha ha ha.  Beeeelocked!  Thanks for coming out!

Home Depot Water filtration service.  Didn't ask for any CC number.  They want to schedule an in home visit.  Not a big deal to politely decline.  very nice.
