Asking to verify my Google business listing -- and I don't have a Google business listing

I did but I gave it up.  Glad I never answer the phone.  BTW, it's not even Google, it's some 3rd party merchant trying to sell you an 'upgrade' (in my case for placement purposes .  In your case, trying to sell you *anything* as long as you advertise

what *he* said.   I have no idea, I have not answered the phone in over a decade because of these intrusive callers.
