Anyone else been harrassed by this number. Met girl on pof, exchanged numbers (like an idiot) she began being sexual out of the the blue, sent me sexual photos and then had to get off the phone. (She had a whole sob story to go along with it) didnt hear from her for 2-3 days (didnt really care to hear from her) get a text saying hey whats up, i forgetting who it was said hello back and immediately bum rushed by "uncle" saying im in huge trouble, she was 17, hes going to call me shortly and figure this out. Long story short of course he calls says her dad was sooo mad he broke her laptop and she needs it to finish her school, hows she supposed to help with her sick dying mom without finishing her school.
Like a complete idiot freaked out, walmart2walmart money transferred 300$ (he wants 1100$) and he said he would text me everyday to follow up making sure i dont forget to send it. Kept calling me "sir" at first then began calling me "son". Anyones help and inout please.

Yes it is an extortion scam being run on or by that site. There are numerous number threads here with the same story. Make a police report to your local PD. If the calls come from South Carolina, which seems to be popular with these extortionists, make a report there as well.
Thank you so much. Called local PD from numbers area code and they didnt even seemed interested. Said to ignore it, if they keep up tell them its been reported AND THEN IF you keep hearing from them call again and start the reporting process. Blew my mind but just knowing its all just some [***] makes me feel 100x better.
Reasoning for not bothering with the report apparently is because these [***] use a program that disguises their phone numbers or their numbers of "throw away" phones.
