Called me, robo call, press 1 for more information to lower electric bill. Said they were a non-profit organization. Ask for Company's officers names and address's. They hung up.
Mike - sorry this is happening to an honest businessman; I previously had a call from 4815 trying to sell solar panels and this may be the same scam artist. It's a shame the service providers and government regulators seem unable to offer the public and honest businesses a remedy beyond platitudes like "don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize" while charging monthly fees for a CID system that's completely open to spoofing.
I've had problems not answering calls from contractors who use the cell phone that don't report the business name because I didn't recognize it but I can imagine the business frustration when legitimate calls that need a prompt response goes to voice mail.
