Just received same call. I'm an 80 yr old only on social security and had to have my daughter come listen and look this up. I can't even remember how to get messages off my phone. This is terrible and scary for people in my situation. 843-637-2846. Said irs and I was being charged and under investigation.
The message left was that you need to call this 843-637-2846 before legal action will be taken against you by the internal revenue. 1. The internal revenue will not call you on the phone they send letters to your address this is a scam people be aware.
