just emptied my father in laws bank account... i have managed to track down the ip address and physical address if interested in .... the number that is calling is a internet app number but ip address is through a hard line that is being paid for by a real person . if interested in location or info just reply and i will assist i cant stand ppl like this and its hard to track and the damn police just act like its just "one of those things" as i was told but i used to locate alot worse for the military and usually wouldnt make the effort but its my family and i know this person checks behind herself so i hope you see my post. Have your father-in-law file a report with the police, then take that report to his bank and demand the bank reverse the withdrawal transaction, then close that bank account and open a new one.
As for tracking down the person, many of these thieves are outside the USA and it will be a long way for you to go to get to them. Sometimes these thieves work through a botnet so you have to be careful you don't accuse an innocent person whose computer has been infected with malware that links them into a botnet.
