Person suggested they were calling my husband regarding Medicare. I refused to accept the call and the person actually argued with me that since I was not my husband I should mind my own business.... I demanded to know what company he was calling for - he kept saying something about Medicare. Interestingly he sort of mumbled the name of the company every time I demanded that he repeat it (I do not have a hearing problem.) I pressed on and he said he did NOT work for medicare, not did he work for the Fed Gov't that oversees medicare... I pointed out that if he didn't work for medicare then he was misrepresenting himself and that we had no interest in talking to him as he was 'just another telemarketer'... I said I would be reporting him. He again said that since I was not my husband, I should just just get my husband to the phone... that he wasn't even calling to talk to me. I said that he wasn't going to be talking to my husband either.... and hung up.
