I just let these calls ring and ring -- if a person or a machine doesn't pick up, there's a good chance the number gets kicked off the autodialer list. So far, this approach has helped decrease the number of calls I get per day by at least half. Who knew Old School would be the solution???
I just got such a call. Of course I didn't pick up, and had set my phone to not take messages. What I'd like to know is, in what universe can I get a call from an "invalid number"? Yes, I know - the same universe in which (insert your choice of improbable event). Thanks for sharing!
