I was called twice today. Carol and Nancy (probably not their names) Said they were calling from Windows about the computer. I asked for a supervisor, was told they were techs and had no supervisor. I asked for their last name and they hung up. Don't let them come near your computer - they are not from Windows and have no right to ask for any information.
They called me twice. The first time I said I didn't have a computer and the lady called me a liar. When I asked him not to call me again after asking for the supervisor he said he can call if he wants
Just received a missed call from this number, with Caller ID from "L C Williams & Associates," and no voicemail. When I returned the call, I heard a message saying "Call could not be completed as dialed." When I called L C Williams's main line [(800) 837-7123] they reported that no one had called my number. I'm suspecting that the missed phone call may have been a phishing attempt, spoofing the company's information.
