I could barely understand this guy-either his name or company he claimed he was calling from----something "Composites"?!?!?!? I think he asked for the Machine Shop manager, but hard to tell. Sent to generic VM. Caller ID was Northbrook, Il, number comes back to a company called Uk Abrasives.
The caller asked for person in charge of our Tooling. He stated the company was Diamond Composite Technologies. He insisted I give him the extension of the person in charge. I put him through to the VM of one of our Tooling Engineers, because we do deal with diamond coating from time to time. The guy called me back two more times. Too bad he's not a better representative. Cold calls are hard.
