Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I got the same call today, my first from these scum. It was a computer generated female voice telling me that I was in big trouble with the IRS and wanted me to call back immediately. I knew it was a scam from the start. First of all, the call came from California and I live in Texas. Secondly, I could tell that the generated voice was a translation from another language without editing, the grammar was all over the place in the translation, like when you translate Chinese into English.
Thirdly, I know that the IRS does not call you at home to tell you your in trouble, they send forms by mail to tell you your in trouble. And even though I didn't call back, I know that the IRS doesn't demand payments over the phone with credit cards, which is what these scum would have done if I had called.
These are scumbag lowlifes that prey on mostly the elderly and don't deserve the air they breath. Perhaps if there was a death penalty for these type scams people wouldn't have to write about it over the internet.....
As far as the call type, it's a scam, and there's no selection for it, which I think is kind of silly. [Webmaster?]
