Received a number of calls from this phone number. They blasted music over the phone and then hung up. They never leave a voicemail.
How can someone stop this kind of phone harrassment? It's sad that there is no phone technology to block specific unwanted calls.
Received a call from 1-847-348-8661 at 8:08 this morning. The caller was extremely rude, asking for someone who does not live here. He was very persistant and rude and we hung up on him.
I received a call from this same number on my cell phone. Was a lady looking for my ex, when I told her she had the wrong number she became very rude and had an attitude. I just hung up on her, I have gotten 2 more calls since from the same number, but they don't leave a message.
The same thing happened to me. I also live in Cook County. I called the number back and they said that it was disconnected. I called the Cook County Sherriff's office and they were not receptive at all.
We have received several calls from this number from a man (3 times), and today from a woman. They keep saying they are trying to reach someone and say they sent information to a particular address and just want to confirm. It's a lie - they never sent anything. The woman said today that they are trying to let the person know about some personal information. She said the company was URSLP Limited - her name is Mary Lewis. Again I suspect it is a lie and they just want to GET information from us. I refused to give them any information and hung up saying I would report them to the police.
