This is a discussion forum where one can report or describe suspicious or unknown phone calls, but reporting them here does not stop the calling. YOU have to take action to do that! (google is your friend). Consider buying a call blocker from your favorite store if nothing else works.
Mark Walker says he is with Stetson Building Products. Called asking for someone who retired 9 years ago. Did a little research, and he is (not surprising) not with Stetson....he is with Fleetmatics. We have repaeatedly told these people that we are not interested, but they come up with differnt ways to try to get around the "watch dog". Not happening folks....lol
Mark called again today saying he is with Willman Construction (whom we have never heard of before). Called him back and asked him which company he works for and now it is both. I then said through Fleetmatics correct? and he seemed surprised and said yes. Told him that was all I needed to know and goodbye.
Does anyone else feel this is a fraudulent practice? It definitely makes me unwilling to work with anyone who hides their true company behind other company(ies).
how many times will these people call and ask for someone who retired over nine years ago? Learn how to update your records! You still aren't going to get past this watch dog!

For your information, Slim, I have reported this to the FCC each and every time they have called. It is nice to be able to vent a little. and to have a running documentation of times and dates and names when they call.
