These people CLAIM to be from "Westwood Mediators". They called me and at first said my mother was on the verge of getting arrested for a bad check back in 2007 and that he needed to get ahold of here asap. He called my mother saying she needed to pay so much money to keep herself out of trouble, when she declined, he called me back. This time he says it was from a loan she had taken out back in '07 and I was a co-signer for the loan. I was 17 in 2007, theres no way I would have been able to co-sign for the loan. He said I needed to help my mother out by paying this money for her. I declined and told him I knew it was a scam. This person was very rude, changed his name numerous times, cursing at us and threatening us. He will keep calling and calling. He is very believeable at first, up until the 3rd or 4th time of talking to him. You tell him you know its a scam and he hangs up.

This is so ridiculous.  Many, many calls from different phone numbers claiming to be "Westwood Mediation"..the lady on the phone was screaming and very unprofessional.  I think something should be done if they are caught.  I seriously hope they are caught, prosecuted and made an example so that other people will not scam people as well.

Got a call today, lady gave her name as Ms. Gibson with Retention and Fraud, said it was a legal matter and I should call within 24 hours to keep the matter from going to the county.

i have had this same message from her. she left me with a name of bethany gibson. she even called my parents and told me that i would be arrested. when i spoke to her she demanded 1200 or i would be sent to the county for arrest. i asked her for written documentation of the payday loan and she told me that we were past that point and that if i did not pay i would be turned over. i have called my atty gen office and they told me they are a scam. i was terrified for awhile. they are very convincing.
