Received a voicemail from a rather rude young woman today from this number. I've never received another call from this number before, so I had no idea who it was, especially since it rang in as "anonymous".
The message very rudely stated:
"Miss (Last Name), Your continued refusal to communicate sends a clear message that your intentions are, and have been, to evade your legal responsibilities. Should our assessment of the situation be incorrect, please contact me today to arrange voluntary terms. My number once again is 847-407-2333 and your file number is xxxxxxx."
Once again, I have NEVER received a call from them at that number nor have I received a piece of written mail from anyone giving me that number, so how could I have displayed a "continued refusal to communicate"?! AND don't say "once again my number is" when you didn't say it in the first place! This sounds like another bull crap scheme to scare money out of people. It has happened to me in the past and I refuse to be taken advantage of again in that future. Not one time in her message did she identify herself or the company she was calling from. Who in their right mind would think that someone listening to that message would actually call them back?!
